We took off for a run and bike venture this morning. Steve was planning a 10 mile run so the kids and I jumped on the bikes and we followed (for a while) We left the house and rode down to Pere Marquette and took the bike trail/board walk loop near Beechwood Park. We split from Steve near the lake (It was very, breezy and cold) Then we headed back toward the house. We rode for 60 minutes and we had a lot of fun. The kids are sure to enjoy their new bikes this year. On the trail, just about 7 feet from us, we saw 4 deer. They were very still and went about their business and didn't seem to mind us taking their picture. We get a lot of deer on the hill behind our house and we love to see them out in our beautiful Michigan nature.
